01.Project
Earlier last year, Katong-Joo Chiat was officially designated as a Heritage Activation Node, celebrating its vibrant mix of culinary traditions, diverse cultures, and distinctive pre-war architecture. For this milestone, we provided professional event videography to document the activities and share the story with a wider audience.
One highlight was filming Minister Tan See Leng’s visit with culinary legends Violet Oon and Alvin Yapp at The Intan, a private Peranakan museum. During our event videography coverage, we captured him cooking traditional Peranakan dishes and exploring the rich history of the museum. These moments offered a heartfelt look into the living traditions that make Katong-Joo Chiat unique.
Through our event videography, we brought heritage to life. We combined cinematic visuals with storytelling to highlight the personalities and cultural narratives of this historic district. Our video preserves these experiences and connects them with today’s audiences.
In addition, we documented interactions, décor, and the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood. By focusing on both people and surroundings, we ensured every key moment was captured. This project shows how professional event videography can convey emotion, history, and community spirit.
We are proud to have showcased the vibrant culture, culinary artistry, and historical legacy of Katong-Joo Chiat through our lens. The resulting video allows viewers to experience the event as if they were there, making the heritage story unforgettable.
